White Paper: Blog Postings and the Lost Art of Writing
- Do you know what a "greengrocer's apostrophe" is?
- Which is correct:"between you and I" or "between you and me"?
- What is the purpose of a paragraph?
- What's wrong with this sentence: "As far as unemployment, I think there are plenty of jobs"?
This white paper doesn't answer these questions specifically, but to become a professional blogger, you need to know the answers.
The answers, by the way:
- An unnecessary apostrophe. For example, "Apple's 50 cents each".
- Between you and me. You wouldn't say "between I and you", would you?
- A paragraph is a container for an idea. When you start a new idea, start a new paragraph.
- It's missing the words "is concerned". "As far as unemployment is concerned, I think there are plenty of jobs".
