Your website should have several methods of passing the good word on.

A quick way to allow your readers to pass the word on to others is by installing a component called AddThis to your website. Rather than try to add each separately, this little nugget give users the option to pick from many different ways. Take a look at the Add This website and click the Add This button that you see close to the top of the page.

This is a more passive (passive for you, because you don't have to do anything - you let your readers decide when and where an inbound link occurs) method than going out to add inbound links yourself.
