Focus on your highest traffic blog pages

For all your best laid plans, you can't always predict which of your blog postings will generate the most traffic.

Use Google Analytics to determine which web pages are generating the most inbound traffic, either as a result of inbound links or as a result of successful keyword matching.

You might be able to see what they have in common. Perhaps they have keywords that are very effective, or content that is compelling. Whatever the reason, rework the pages again for clarity, punctuation and grammar. While succinct blog entries are often more desirable than long essay-length ones, adding a little text might still be ok, as long as it is relevant, well written and interesting. It might also help to add images, a spreadsheet or even sound file to support the original point you are trying to make.

Consider using these popular pages as SEO Targeted Landing pages. I.e. if visitors like the content, they might be natural starting points on your website that encourage visitors to read other parts of your website.
