Avoid duplicate content
Search engines have become more adept at discovering web pages that are identical, especially when they within the same website.
The value of a website is measured partly by the sheer mass of content within a website. One could be forgiven for thinking that by duplicating a few pages, one could "bulk up" the content.
Not so.
It is obviously OK to link to the same page from two different places on the same website - search engines correctly count the destination page as a single page - but duplicating the page is not considered to be good practice and should be avoided.
